Global head of digital fundraising, SightsaversElla joined Sightsavers in 2013 to manage the digital fundraising, working across the UK, Ireland, Italy, US and Scandinavia. In that time, they’ve gone from a team of one (Ella!) to a team of nine, and grown annual online income by 500%. Ella is a fundraiser who happens to work in digital rather than the other way around, having cut her teeth as a corporate fundraiser, then managing face-to-face and direct mail campaigns before moving into Fundraising Innovation and on to Digital Fundraising.
Ella enjoys the challenge of working in an ever-changing area of fundraising, although she does sometimes wish there was a tried and tested answer for how we should do things!
