Having spent her career building partnerships between people, policymakers and the media, Faiza now leads policy and communications for Paul Hamlyn Foundation, developing an integrated approach to advocacy and communications across the Foundation’s wide-ranging portfolio of grants and partnerships. She previously led a national citizen engagement programme, working with NHS England to bolster citizen voice at Board level and before that was Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy and Communications at the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services, supporting youth organisations to advocate for better outcomes for children and young people.
She has been a strategic partner to a number of government departments, a Trustee for End Child Poverty and serves as the only independent member of the Big Lottery Fund’s UK Funding Panel. In 2014, Faiza received an MBE for services to young people. You can find out more about Faiza’s work here.
