Biography

Kate spent her early career in the corporate world at BP and Lloyds Banking Group in a variety of marketing and project management roles. A career break in 2007 working on small business start-up projects with women in Tanzania and Ghana sowed the seed for a move to the not-for-profit sector in 2010 where she was Head of Grant Management at Camfed, a leading NGO in the field of girls’ education and women’s empowerment in sub-Saharan Africa. Since 2013, Kate has run the innocent foundation, an independent grant-making charity set up by innocent drinks in 2004 to tackle hunger in the developing world. She is responsible for establishing partnerships with innovative NGOs implementing malnutrition research and food security projects abroad, and for engaging innocent’s employees and consumers in the foundation’s work.
