Karen Lynch is the CEO of ethical business and pioneering social enterprise Belu Water. In just six years, the former Barclays Executive has transformed Belu into a thriving company with a sustainable model that is 100% funded through trading revenue, debt free, and fast approaching £6m turnover.
Belu offers the most ethical choice in water service, including bottled mineral water and filtration. Belu trades with the purpose of donating all profits to our charity partner, WaterAid. In March 2017, that will be £2.2 million, transforming over 140,000 lives by providing access to clean water and safe sanitation. Belu champion the environmental benchmark in the sector through innovative design and are 100% Carbon Neutral.
With Karen at the helm, the company has been recognised with many awards, including SE100 Social Business Awards, Social Enterprise UK and CoolBrands.
Karen strives to inspire others through sharing the Belu story. She volunteers at the School for Social Entrepreneurs and is an active mentor for social enterprises including Change Please and Dusty Knuckle Bakery
