How to Enter

Entry Basics

  • Within each entry, you will be asked to answer the following series of questions
    • Entry title / project name
    • Company or organisation name
    • Name of charity partner(s)
    • Charity partners cause area
    • 200 word executive summary: Please note should your entry be shortlisted, this information will appear alongside your entry on the Business Charity Awards website. Keep it simple, clear and concise.

Written Submission

Entrants will be asked a series of written questions specific to their category. The word limit for your written submission is 800 words plus a 200 word executive summary. Please refer to the requirements within the categories and criteria page for more information. It is strongly advised that you do not exceed the word limit (this does not include text within additional support material).

Lead Image

Please upload an image to represent your entry. If your entry should be shortlisted this image will represent your entry within the Business Charity Awards website. All files should be supplied in high res JPEG format a minimum 300dpi.

Support Material

Please note you may only upload a total of 15MB. After you have uploaded your submission, you may then upload any additional images to illustrate your work. Images may be used in the Awards supplement and the AV presentation, should your entry reach the shortlist. Please make clear any special instructions that will help the judges access internet sites you may have provided.

Sensitive Information

It is understood that in some cases entries may include commercially sensitive information. Third Sector reserves the right to publish descriptions and case studies of winning entries, but if an entrant asks for any part of their submission to remain confidential, it will be treated as such.To do so, please mark sensitive information within your written submission and send an email to sarah.fournier@haymarket.com.

How To Submit Your Entry

  • Following the enter now link to complete the online registration
  • Select the category you would like to enter
  • Provide your written submission within the appropriate text fields
  • Upload your lead image and any relevant support material
  • Repeat steps 2 through 4 to make multiple entries
  • Submit entry(ies) and make payment where applicable<.

Entry Fees

  • Large companies – turnover of more than £6.5m per annum
    • £425 + VAT: first entry
    • £315 + VAT: all subsequent entries
  • Small companies – turnover of less than £6.5m per annum
    • £275 + VAT: first entry
    • £165 + VAT: all subsequent entries
  • Late fee
    • £65 + VAT per entry
    • All entries submitted after midnight Thursday 9 February will incur an additional fee through Thursday 23 February
  • LBG members will receive 25% off the total price of entries. Please contact freya.spath@haymarket.com for further information.

Eligibility Period

The eligibility period for submissions should related to the period covering 1 February 2016 to 31 January 2017. If your entry ran outside these dates or across multiple years, please only discuss the activity that took place between them.
